Hello all!
This is a quick introduction and write-up on what this page is about, and what's the plan for the future. As always, future plans are subject to change without notice.
The goal on here is to attempt and do longer-form posts. Realistically, this may be anything from creative writing, through to long-form posts on topics of the day, to assorted musings. Depending on how successfully this works as a vehicle for writing, this may get split into dedicated sections – or it may not.
Ultimately, the reasoning behind this account is my continuously growing distaste for siloed corporate social media, and a similarly growing desire to re-engage with creating content (written and visual) on the internet.
Long-term, these desires may end up withering on the vine... or they may become a new creative outlet. Who knows?! What I do know now is that I've got the initial setup for this site completed, as well as the initial setup for Mastodon (this may be the general aggregator for the rest of my online existence... or not.)
Lastly, as alluded to in the earlier disclaimer, all of this is brand new, and the plans may change as I work out how these platforms work (or don't work) for what I'm trying to do with them. But, for now, thank you for visiting!
